Description

Shatavari Cell
Our body is composed of around 200 types of cellular tissues (uttak), and similar cellular groups are also found in various parts (panchang) of plants. In traditional Ayurvedic medicine, the identification of specific plant cell types that resemble human tissues forms a vital foundation of treatment.

The sattvic essence of different plant parts is processed into single-herb medicinal forms such as tablets, vati, guggul, ghana vati, or capsules (with plant-based shells). These are used by traditional Ayurvedic practitioners, Gavyasiddh doctors, and Vaidyas.

Shatavari Cell (this cellular food medicine) is one such formulation. In the classical division of Ayurveda, the root of the Shatavari plant is an important component. It supports the balanced functioning of the heart and is especially used in nervous disorders.
